Wordsmith - Story Writing Competition (Online Event)

 

Event Description : The students will be given a few words and a picture based on which they’ll have to revolve their ideas, thoughts and knowledge. In addition to their imagination, we’ll be testing their writing and expression skills.

 

Registration Rules :

• There is no restriction with regard to the number of participants from each school.

 

Event Rules:

• Spin a yarn out of the picture and the words given to you.

• The given picture will be abstract and will be open to interpretation.

• Highlight the words given to you and your interpretation of the picture wherever you use them in the story.

• The upper word limit is 750 words.

• Grammatical errors will result in negative marking.

• The judgement criteria is the writer's originality, innovation and creativity.

• Only stories written in English shall be entertained for judging.

• Stories should be submitted in Pdf format.
